Hello Community,

since i got many PM's and E-Mails regarding missusing of the Forum Software, here's a little intruduction about the most common mistakes:

Groups and Usergroups:
There is a difference between "Groups" and "Usergroups".
Usergroups are also called "Permission-Groups" as you can gain additional permissions with it.
A Translator or a Beta-Tester for example is member of the Usergroup "Beta-Testers" or "Translators".

Groups are simply User-Opened "Interests-Group". You like Animes? Of course you can create a group "We are Anime-Fans" and invite a bunch of people in there.
Or you like Programming? Then you can simply create a Group "We like Programming" or "Programming Rocks" and invite People to share ideas, pictures, code-snippets or whatever you like.

Usergroup Permissions (Title and Nick-Color):
"I'm a Translator but my color is not purple and my rank is like everybody else's!".
"I'm a Beta-Tester but my color is not orange and insert random sentence here!".

Well, there's nothing we can do about it.. Wait - we can. But we won't.
We gave you the ability to change your Primary Group to your own needs.
For example: You're a Translator and a Beta-Tester. You can now go into your UsersCP and select which group you want as your primary one.
If you select "Translators", your nick will be Purple and you'll have the title "Translators". Same with the Beta-Testers. When you choose this to be the Primary Group, your Nick will be Orange and bla bla.

So, don't forget to change it from the default one, when you're in an additional Usergroup

My Nick / Rank is blah!:
Simple rule: You chose your nick at registration. You like your nick. Basta.
When it now comes into your mind: Bleh, my nick is bad! - simply write a PM to a Team-Member.
If you're not changing your Nick every week, we'll be pleased to change your nick to your own wishes.
Same goes with the Rank. If you want to have something different, please PM a Team-Member.
If you're not changing your Rank every week, we'll be pleased to... you know it.
